The Secret to Fluffy, Full Brows
Brow lamination is a process of adding multiple solutions on to the brows that will smooth and set brow hairs into a uniform direction for a fuller look. You can discuss with your esthetician the desired position you would like them in. That may be super fluffy or dramatic brows, or you can simply ask for a more natural look. Brow Laminations are going to be ideal for anyone that struggles with unruly, sparse or asymmetrical brows. These results will last you 4 weeks. It is great for a low-maintenance routine and for an overall polished appearance to the brows.

How does Brow Lamination Process work?
When you come in for your appointment, your provider will analyze your brows and decide whether you would be a candidate. Providers look out for one thing in particular: if you have very thin or little to no brows, you will not be able to continue with the treatment due to the perming solution that goes onto the brows. After we decide if you are a candidate, we will prep the brows by wiping them with Micellar water to remove and excess oil.
We will then apply the perming solution and set it with a plastic wrap while it processes. That will sit for one minute. Once the minute is up, we will remove the plastic wrap and start to brush the brows in the desired shape. The plastic wrap will then go back on for 4-5 minutes. We will then remove the perm solution and add the conditioning solution. This will sit on for another 4-5 minutes. Then, we will decide whether to do a tint and a wax.

Adding Depth and Definition to Your Brows
What is brow tinting, and how do we decide if it’s an option for you? Brow tinting will be a semi-permanent dye that will be applied to the brows to darken and define them. This is going to be good for anyone who struggles with lighter or fine brows to give a bolder look. There are varied colors to choose from to match to the natural tones of your brows. Tints will normally last a little bit longer than the brow lamination. After tinting we will then decide if a wax is the right choice for you. If you have finer hair and not a lot of hair growth, then a wax may not be the right choice for you. Waxing is going to be good for people who have hair overgrowth and want a sleek, clean look.
Who Should Avoid BRow Lamination & Other Factors to Consider
If you are someone who struggles with overly sensitive skin, you may want to reconsider getting this treatment done. The perming solution that is applied to the brows can sometimes irritate the skin around the brows and make your skin very red. If you are someone that does not know if you have super sensitive skin, it is important to note that if your esthetician sees signs of irritation, you might be told to not get the treatment done again. It is also important to consider the upkeep and cost of brow laminations.
If all the after care is followed, it will last up to about 4 weeks. That is the absolute soonest you can get it done after receiving the treatment. Keep in mind if you are someone that has thinner and finer brows your esthetician make ask you to take breaks in between so you do not damage the brow hairs. As always, it is important to consult with a professional to for personalized recommendations

Brow Before and After-Care Tips
Make sure to stop any retinol or exfoliants at least 3 days before your treatment due to skin irritation and lifting of the skin if we were to wax. For long-lasting results, ensure not to get your brows wet for 48 hours. Give the solution enough time to really set in. Another aftercare tip we give is not to use makeup on the brows for 48 hours. This goes for any brow gels or brow pencils. One last tip I always give my clients is to avoid any intense physical activity for the first 24 hours, especially if you tend to sweat a lot.
