When I worked at Artisan, I was asked/told to creep down a hallway at the Majestic Hotel and listen under the door to hear how much a competitor was offering for a movie we wanted to buy.

Watching the sun rise at the Eden-Roc as Bruce Willis DJ’d following the Armageddon premiere and the bar was emptied of its contents.

Attitude toward timing/reporting on standing ovations at premieres?
I am not a fan of any reporting on the length of time someone spends standing and cheering, or for that matter doing anything else.
